Capital Scarlett is a big, imposing grey mare with a serious production record. She has already bred rising stars Capital Roscoe (1.15m), Capital Hunter and Capital Romulus, confirming her as a broodmare who passes on scope and athleticism. Her dam Alzu In Love is the dam of Alzu Osprey (1.40m), and her granddam Alzu Windemere produced Alzu Belgravia, so the jumping results run down both sides of her pedigree.

Her sire, Capital Shiraz, tends to bring sharpness and quality, and the Alzu mares underneath add substance and genuine power.

Scarlett is in foal to Capital’s Jaures de Hus, our grey Selle Francais stallion, purchased from the Flanders Foal Auction. He is a son of the Olympic gold medallist Baloubet du Rouet. His dam, Hera van’t Roosakker, competed to 1.40m and is by Wandor van Mispelaere, a stallion known for exemplary technique and enormous scope.

Capital Scarlett’s foal promises to be a VERY exciting showjumping prospect.
