Capital Qaza carries Darco’s legacy in his blood and in his way of going. He is by Capital Qorland, the son of the international jumper Corland out of the foundation mare Zinnia I. Corland, a son of the great Cor de la Bryère, was Champion of the Benelux in The Hague and placed at shows from Rotterdam to the Verona World Cup under W.J. van der Schans, while Zinnia I, by the celebrated Cassini I, is the dam of the 1.60m Capital Levubu. It is a top line of real quality.

The Darco comes through Qaza’s dam, Zoi van het Gehucht, who is by the legendary stallion himself. Darco was a BWP Ambassador and former world number one sire, a championship jumper under Ludo Philippaerts, and the sire of international stars and stallions, including Winningmood, Nonstop, and Parco. To have him as a damsire is to carry one of the sport’s great influences close up.

Under saddle, Qaza maintains rhythm and impulsion with ease and is naturally engaged from behind, using his body exceptionally well over a fence. He is an athletic, correct prospect with quality on both sides of his page. He is well suited to a rider who wants a genuine sport horse to develop toward the top classes.
