CAPITAL QUINCY

Capital Qorland x Capital Homerus x Casall

06.01.2022   |   Bay   |   Gelding   |   172cm

Capital Quincy brings refined quality, with genuine performance stacked throughout his pedigree. He is by Capital Qorland, the son of the international Corland out of the foundation mare Zinnia I, dam of the 1.60m Capital Levubu. Corland, a son of the great Cor de la Bryère, was Champion of the Benelux in The Hague and jumped internationally to 1.60m under W.J. van der Schans.

Quincy’s dam side is unusually strong. His dam, Capital Hoya, is by Capital Homerus, one of the stud’s own stallions, a son of the legendary Darco who jumped to 1.50m with Leona van der Merwe. Darco led the WBFSH jumping sire rankings for five straight years and competed and finished seventh at the Barcelona Olympics under Ludo Philippaerts. Hoya’s own dam, Coriana, is by Casall, one of the finest showjumpers of his generation under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and now a celebrated sire. This is a dam side rich in international quality.

Under saddle, Quincy is forward-going and responsive, an exciting ride who loves having a job and excels with a purposeful rider, yet is reliable and forgiving with it. He is a quality prospect for a rider who wants a genuine horse with the blood to ascend the grades.
