05.01.2022   |   Chestnut   |   Gelding   |   168cm

Capital Figi is by Capital Figaro D’Isigny, the son of the world-class sire Kannan. Kannan, by Voltaire out of a Nimmerdor mare, was a championship jumper who won the Grand Prix of Deauville and helped France to back-to-back Samsung Super League victories, before becoming one of the dominant sires in the sport. He was named WBFSH Sire of the Year for jumping in 2024 and is the sire of Nino des Buissonnets, Steve Guerdat’s individual gold medallist at the London 2012 Olympics. Through Figaro D’Isigny, Figi carries that blood over the French damline of Miloust d’Isigny, by Dollar du Murier.

Figi’s own dam, Capital Asia, brings a deep, homebred jumping family, with her sire Capital A Star a son of Argentinus. Argentinus jumped to Grand Prix and was both Champion Stallion in Oldenburg and Stallion of the Year in Hannover, siring the World Cup winner Anka under Marcus Ehning and the Olympic horses Arko III and Adlantus As. This is a deep, quality dam side beneath a world-class sire line.

Under saddle, Figi is dependable from the first fence to the last, relaxed and consistent in his work, the sort of honest horse who makes learning enjoyable and rewarding. Calm and reassuring to ride, he is a horse who creates trust, well suited to a rider who values a genuine, uncomplicated partner with quality bloodlines to build on.
