Capital Cologne is by Capital Cornetblue Floreval Z, the stud’s own son of Cornet Obolensky, and inherits one of the best sire lines standing anywhere.

Cornet Obolensky needs little introduction: a son of Clinton, he jumped for Germany at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and stands today as the number one sire on the 2025 WBFSH ranking, one of the foundation stallions of the modern jumping horse. Capital Cornetblue Floreval Z reinforces that with Chacco-Blue on his own dam’s side.

Cologne is out of Capital Cloud, a daughter of Capital Capriccio. Capital Capriccio is by Cor de la Bryère, the foundation sire behind so much of modern Holstein jumping. Capriccio himself jumped to 1.45m successfully in South Africa and is a foundation stallion of our stud.
