He is by Capital Qorland, the son of the international Corland out of the foundation mare Zinnia I, dam of the 1.60m Capital Levubu, so his top line is pure Holstein-bred quality.

Quito is out of Capital Asia, by Capital A Star, a stud stallion by the outstanding Argentinus, who jumped to Grand Prix and sired the World Cup winner Anka and the Olympic horses Arko III and Adlantus As. Behind that, Capital Asia descends from the mare Melodie en Fa, the dam of the great Nabab de Reve, the Quidam de Revel son and sire of Olympic silver medallist Glock’s London. It is the same female family that produced one of Belgium’s most celebrated stallions.

Under saddle, Quito is a beautiful, forward mover with a powerful canter well suited to jumping, elegant and expressive in his gaits, and a horse who always gives his rider his best effort. He is a quality prospect with movement and attitude to match his pedigree.
